12:11 10 Important Details You Missed In Creed 2

10 Important Details You Missed In Creed 2

Did you catch all these little Easter eggs and references in Creed 2?Subscribe to our channel:

Creed II has been released and not only does it serve as a worthy sequel to its predecessor, it’s the perfect bookend for Rocky IV and the character of Ivan Drago. But even the most devoted fan is sure to have missed some of the more interesting details peppered throughout Creed II. Director Steven Caple Jr. managed to fit some great homages into the film in addition to some really cool references.

You might not have realized it, but Adonis’s proposal to Bianca was specifically designed to mirror Rocky’s proposal to Adrian in Rocky II. Creed II pays homage to Rocky IV in a number of ways, including the fact that there’s a match that takes place in America and a rematch takes place in Russia. Creed II also manages to follow plot beats similar to Rocky III, in which Rocky, after a crushing defeat, has to regain the ‘Eye of the Tiger’ for his rematch. Adonis’s journey in Creed II mirrors Rocky’s in another specific way: they both have a kid for the first time. There are even returning characters from past Rocky movies that show up for brief cameos. Creed II also uses the notion of throwing in the towel, a major plot point from Rocky IV, in an affective and emotional way, mirroring that film’s drama.

And believe it or not, we’ve got plenty more fun details where that came from. So tune in to learn all the different ways Creed II pays homage to the amazing Rocky series.

The Dark Knight Trilogy - Epic Retrospective

The Dark Knight Trilogy contains some of the best superhero movies ever made. No movies show that as perfectly as Christopher Nolan's Trilogy — three movies that explore the formative years of the legendary superhero Batman, from the beginning of his crusade for justice to the explosive climax.

FILM DESCRIPTION: Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone) is champ again, captain of a large family, wife son and relatives. When there is a challenge from abroad-a Soviet giant named Drago (Dolph Lundgren)-the challenger is laughed off. The Soviet government wants the prestige of a World Heavyweight Boxing Championship and stands fully behind Drago-a cold, blond, almost-bloodless fighting machine who is somewhat inhuman. Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) is now Rocky's manager and is appalled by the effrontery of the challenge. To teach the upstart a lesson in boxing, Apollo agrees to an exibition match in Las Vegas. Drago has been fatally underrated. His massive blows knock out and kill Apollo. To his wife Adrian's (Talia Shire) horror and grave objection, Rocky agrees to a match with Drago-in Moscow.
