You’ve probably found some things at least once or twice in your lifetime. But chances are you’ve not found the same things these youtubers have found. Some of these people being treasure hunters find the most amazing things.

Some can be explained, while others cannot. So with that in mind, we rounded up 10 Mysterious Things Found by Youtubers.

1. Mysterious Secret Passage – A youtuber was using his metal detector and found a hotplate, which really isn’t that big of a deal.

2. Floating Beverage Cooler – A group of friends were out on a normal outing near a river when they noticed a white container was floating on the water.

3. Tank buried in forest – A popular Youtuber known as Deep Digger Dan, who finds all kinds of interesting things using a metal detector, actually found a tank gun barrel that was made in 1928.

4. Shotgun – While this youtuber, who goes by Aquachigger, was out in the woods and stumbled onto a gun case laying on the side of a riverbank.

5. Galaxy S5 Phone – Dumpster diving is a term that is commonly used for going through dumpster of stores to see if they’ve thrown out broken or damaged merchandise.

6. Gold Ring – Treausure hunters find all kinds of interesting, and sometimes, very valuable things. This youtuber was looking for treasure using his metal detector and found a big solid gold class ring.

7. Hidden Bunker – A Youtuber that goes by ww2historyhunter was out in the woods and came across a small square metal door in which he thought he’s open and find a water tank.

8. Machine Gun – Magnet fishing seems to be a popular thing as you never know what you’re going to find under the water somewhere.

9. Prosthetic Leg – This might be the strangest thing on this list. Once again this is youtuber Aquachigger who is diving for treasure and happens on a prosthetic leg sitting at the bottom wedged between some rocks.

10. Cremated Human Remains – This youtuber by the name of dallmyd (D-ALL-MY-D) was diving and found a black box sitting at the bottom of a river.

9. Killifish
It may not be too far a stretch to call the Killifish one of the most unique and interesting fish in the world. That's because this is a fish that only lives for about a year, and it uses its body as a missile in order to get food. However, one of the most shocking and surprising things about it, is that it can live on land for a week despite being a fish!!

8. European Wels Catfish
The Wels Catfish is one of the world’s largest freshwater fish. This giant fish is native to Eastern Europe but can now be found all over thanks to fishermen who wanted to be able to fish them for sport in Spain and Italy. These fish can get up to 15 feet long and weigh anywhere from 300 to 600 pounds!!

7. Silver Arowana
In South America, there is a fish known as the Silver Arowana, and it's known to be quite a vicious predator. It has a leaping ability that is so good that they are able to jump out of the water in order to catch birds, insects, and even grab low-hanging snakes. Just as important though is that they do it with such speed and accuracy that their prey doesn't have time to react, ensuring that they get their meal.

6. Eel Catfish
The Eel Catfish is another unique fish that has developed the ability to move onto land!! This fish is found in the muddy swamps of western Africa can grow 12-16 in long (30-40cm). What’s weird about them is that they love to eat beetles which are found on land! The fish has to be hungry enough to want to go through the effort but when it does, it propels itself onto the shore, raises up the front part of its body, and lunges at it with its jaws wide so it can bite down on the beetle.

5. Giant Trevally
When BBC was filming their special "Blue Planet II", they were given a tip that there were fish eating birds off of the coast of the Seychelles. The fish that was doing this was one that had not been documented before as ever eating birds! The Giant Trevally fish.

4. Rainbow Trout
When it comes to the Rainbow Trout, it already had a reputation for being an extraordinary fish. Mainly because of its fighting spirit and the ability it has to leap out of the water, but when a research team caught a very special Rainbow Trout on camera, they were shocked!! Inside the Rainbow Trout were about 20 shrews.

3. Sharks
Sharks are one of the top predators in the ocean, and so you might think that they wouldn't even need to feast on land animals or birds in order to feed their hunger. But the fact of the matter is, when a shark is hungry, they are not going to be picky!! They're known for eating seals, sea lions, and other creatures that hover between land and sea, and for certain species like Tiger Sharks, they're perfectly fine with catching birds right out of the air.

2. Archer Fish
When it comes to a creature of the water getting a creature on the land, or in the air, they usually have to develop a special technique. The Archer Fish preys on bugs and other small creatures that hover too close to the water. And with the Archer Fish, they have arguably gotten the most unique, and potentially epic, adaptation of all: the ability to shoot water like a bullet.

1. Orcas
While Orcas are not fish, I had to include them on this list because they are very impressive apex predators!! These guys are known as Killer Whales for a reason and they have earned that title by killing creatures both in the water and on land.

Origins Explained is the place to be to find all the answers to your questions, from mysterious events and unsolved mysteries to everything there is to know about the world and its amazing animals!

History lovers and wannabe Indiana Joneses around the world dream of finding a rare and valuable artifact during their travels. And the truth is that many people who aren’t looking for something end up finding something incredibly rare on accident, or by pure luck.

However, there are other people who have been searching long and hard for recently discovered some incredible artifacts, and now we’re going to show you what they found! From an ancient Qing Dynasty Sword to a bizarre 400-million-year old hammer, check out these 10 recently discovered ancient artifacts.

10. Chinese Man Finds Old Sword in Ground, Uses it as Kitchen Knife
A 60-year-old Chinese farmer named, Yi Shouxiang, was digging on his land in Chengkou County in China Province when he stumbled across an old sword blade that had no handle. Not thinking much of it at the time, he took it home and used it as a kitchen knife for five years until one day he noticed some strange characters on the blade.

9. Thor's Hammer
No, we’re not talking about Mjolnir, the very powerful and mythical hammer which Thor used to protect Asgard from the Frost Giants. Instead, this small artifact is a Viking amulet in the shape of Thor's Hammer which dates back to the 10th century.

8. Pensioner Finds 2, 300-Year-Old Pure Gold Crown Under Bed
An elderly English man who decided to remain anonymous really had a stroke of luck when he re-discovered inherited treasure in the form of an authentic Greek gold crown in a cardboard box under his bed! He had inherited the box from his grandfather, and saw the crown long ago, but didn’t think it had any value, so he didn’t pay any attention to it.

7. 1, 000-Year-Old Viking Sword Discovered
Some discoveries really do just land in your lap as Árni Björn Valdimarsson found out in 2016 when he and a group of friends went hunting for geese and instead found a 1000-year-old Viking sword laying on the sand completely exposed.

6. Ancient Texas Hammer Found ‘Embedded’ in Rock
There are few ancient artifacts that cause a bigger debate than the legendary ‘London Hammer’. The hammer was found in a tiny little town called London, located in Texas, USA, was found embedded in rock. But here’s the big mystery; the rock that the hammer is stuck in is over 400 million years old!

5. Religious Artifacts Found Alongside Bones in Attic Maybe Relics of a Saint
Mr. Williston of St John, New Brunswick, Canada made a remarkable discovery while cleaning out his attic one night in 2015. Alongside the usual family heirlooms, unused furniture, and Christmas decorations he was shocked to discover bones, some jewelry, and many other strange trinkets.

4. Roman Swords
Big time discoveries are really a dream for archeologists both amateur and professional alike. So, the chance to work on an excavation site at the Roman Fort of Vindolanda, just south of Hadrian's Wall, was a dream come true for archaeologist Sarah Baker. She, along with other volunteers, helped to unearth a previously unknown barracks at the site in 2017.

3. Viking Shield
In 2008, Danish archaeologists who were digging 60 miles or so outside of Copenhagen found a stunningly well-preserved Viking shield, which is believed to be around 1, 000 years old! Archaeologist Kirsten Christensen was understandably excited upon discovering it. The reason it was so well-preserved is that of the moist soil and sediment that covered it keeping oxygen out which causes things to decay.

2. Amazing Discovery Found in the Sand Could Rewrite Australian History
Those who know Australian history no doubt know that Dutchman Willem Janszoon is credited with the discovery of Australia when he landed in North Queensland in 1606, around 160 years before Captain Cook! However, a discovery of some copper coins on Wessel Island by a patrolling soldier in 1944 may just rewrite that history!

1. Grandmothers Ming Dynasty Style Plate Sells for Nearly a Quarter of a Million Dollars
We all know that grandmothers have a love of pottery, porcelain, and fine china. And what most people don’t expect is to be left a porcelain plate by their grandmother which is worth over $265, 000 thousand dollars!

We hope you enjoyed this video. Let us know which one of these rare artifacts is your favorite. And if you liked the video, give the subscribe button a click and turn on notifications so you’ll be first to know when a new video comes out! We appreciate you stopping by and thanks for watching!

9:45 Why Titanic's Tragic Sister Ships Sank

Why Titanic's Tragic Sister Ships Sank

The trio of ships saw journeys of triumph and tragedy. Everyone knows the story of the Titanic, but not many people know that the Titanic had 2 sister ships.

Bad luck seemed to follow the trio of ships, but each one of them had glorious moments that live in the minds of those who sailed in them. White Star Line, the company who built the Titanic, had high hopes for what the “unsinkable ship” and its sister ships, the Britannic and the Olympic, would accomplish.

Amazing images that bring back to life Titanic in Colour: Photos of One of the Largest Passenger Liners of Its Time Rendered in Full Colour The RMS Titanic was one of the most opulent liners to have ever been built and the largest steamship in the world. It struck an iceberg on its maiden voyage from Southampton, England, to New York City and sank on April 15, 1912. Since the discovery of its wreckage in 1985, interest in the ill-fated liner slightly dwindled. Now a century after its sinking, the Titanic remains an enduring and enigmatic subject. Thomas Schmid of 3D history, is one such person that has been mesmerized by the tale of this fabled ship that was once pronounced unsinkable. Through his work, we are able to travel back in time to see images of the luxury liner, not as they were taken, but rendered in full colour. SUMMARY: — The Olympic was the first of the trio to set sail on June 11, 1911, heading toward New York. The sheer size of it would wow the crowds. The Olympic’s maiden voyage went without incident, and a crowd of 8, 000 people in New York got to explore its luxurious accommodations while it was docked there. — At some point during the early hours of April 15, 1912, the crew of the Olympic decided they wouldn’t make it in time and halted their course. The survivors of the Titanic were eventually rescued by the Carpathia. — The Olympic was set up with lifeboats for all crew and passengers after the Titanic sank. It went from having 20 lifeboats to 64. Changes were also made to the watertight bulkheads, and an extra hull was installed to construct a type of double hull. — For several years, the Olympic was used in the war effort against Germany. Throughout the years, she carried over 200, 000 passengers, including thousands of Americans fleeing from Europe and troops battling during World War I. — The ship crashed with the Nantucket lightship, and the crash signaled the beginning of the end. Beaten up and after years of service, the Olympic was demolished and scrapped for parts. — Although the Britannic was the youngest of the trio of ships, having been constructed last, it was also the biggest. They intended to name it “Gigantic.” However, after the Titanic’s disaster, they changed the name to the Britannic since they considered it to be a lucky name. — Just a year after it was turned into a hospital ship, the Britannic was making its way through the Aegean Sea to pick up wounded soldiers when it was struck by a loud explosion. — Unlike the Titanic’s large death toll, only 30 people perished in the sinking of the Britannic — over 1, 000 survived. So many people survived because the accident happened in the morning when the temperature of the water was warmer. — The bad luck that followed the Titanic and the Britannic and the accidents and demise of the Olympic were remarkable, but what was most impressive is that there was a woman who sailed on all 3 ships and survived. Violet Jessop was a crew member and nurse aboard the ships.
