Over the last decade plus, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has delivered hit after hit, building its shared universe to one epic climax. Along the way, there’ve been some great one liners and speeches by the heroes.

Whether it’s a well crafted motivational speech by the likes of Captain America or Nick Fury, or a clumsy one by Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, they’ve rallied the troops. Sometimes they’ve come in the form of bits of wisdom given from mentor to student, such as the Ancient One talking to Doctor Strange in the Astral Plane or T’Chaka talking to his son T’Challa, aka the Black Panther, in the spiritual realm. It’s not just heroes that’ve delivered great lines either, villains like Erik Killmonger have made their case with their last words or Thanos when he demonstrated his inevitably. With characters like Tony Stark’s Iron Man or Rocket Racoon bopping around, there are bound to be plenty of opportunities for great quips and jokes as well. Some are ways to slide classic lines for characters like Spider-Man without actually saying them one more time. Then, there’s characters like Bruce Banner who has to find a way to explain to his teammates what it is to share a body with the Ever Lovin’ Hulk. Hint: It’s not easy.

Whatever the motivation for the line, they become an iconic part of the franchise, something we end up repeating to each other or even finding a way to incorporate in our non-superhero lives. These repeatable lines are the hallmark of memorable cinema and the MCU certainly has been memorable. Let’s take a look at some of the most quotable lines from the last ten years of Marvel movies.

With decades of comic books and stories to draw from, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has an almost unlimited well of inspiration for its movie franchise juggernaut. While not every story or thread can make it to the big screen, every once in a while, a sly reference to the comic book canon can be slipped into the movie as a nod to the fans. With the cultural influence Marvel Comics has had long before Iron Man introduced us to the shared universe, there are plenty of chances for references to Marvel’s reach into pop culture.

After ten years and over twenty movies under their belt, the inside jokes have built up. Inside jokes have been a staple of comics for years and have helped define Marvel. More than just little rewards to hardcore fans, they connect the universe together. Here’s some of the best hidden jokes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

With the release of the Captain America: The First Avenger in July 2011, audiences got their first cinematic taste of the superhero in red, white and blue. Steve Rogers was introduced in the comics in 1941, first appearing in Captain America Comics #1. He became an American super soldier designed to fight the Axis of power during World War II. His character immediately became a beacon a champion for the people. Simultaneously, Cap’s shield became one of the most iconic symbols in all the Marvel universe. The shield is Cap’s primary weapon and defense. It can be found attached to his back or his arm as he runs into battle.

The most well-known of his shields is a disc shaped object. It has a white five-pointed star design in the center within blue, red, and white concentric circles. Rogers uses this disc against his enemies by throwing it at them. He can also perform truly mind bogglingly impossible tricks and feats of physics with it during battle. It is considered virtually indestructible.

What is really know about Cap’s shield? It turns out that Marvel has been burying many secrets over the years about his disc. For example, the disc is not as impervious to scuff. It has gone further than that. The shield has been broken and reformed. There have also been times when Cap used other variations of the disc, like one made of light. There are numerous alternatives in the past, present and future. It is not made of pure vibranium like fans have been led to believe. This is just the start of it. Check out the rest to find out the truth.

Everything We Wanted To See In Marvel Avengers Endgame, But Didn’t Happen

Avengers: Endgame was thrilling from start to finish. It was an epic conclusion to the Infinity Saga 10 plus years in the making, but was it perfect? It comes close, very, very close, but nope, nothing’s perfect. While there were plenty of awesome and tragic events that took place in the movie, there were a few things we wanted to see that never quite came to fruition, so that’s exactly what we’re going to cover in this video.

While it was awesome to see Professor Hulk in action, we kinda wanted to see the green smashing giant go toe to toe with Thanos. Well, we already saw this matchup in Infinity War, but it didn’t go very well for the Hulk back then. We’re sure it would’ve been different in Endgame, but we’ll never know. Also, what was the deal with Hawkeye’s alter ego, Ronin? From the trailer, we thought he’d play a big role in the film, but he didn’t. All we got was a creepy Hawkeye with some sick tats instead of the dark swordsman Ronin. Speaking of roles, we’ll also talk about Scott Lang, aka Ant-Man, and how he actually didn’t do much other than telling everyone about time travel. The rat was the real hero.

There are many more things we wanted to see in Avengers: Endgame than just those, so enjoy the video, let us know if there was anything you were disappointed not to see in the film in the comments section below and don’t forget to subscribe to CBR for more MCU content.

Cool Facts About Marvel Spider-Man’s Suits n the MCU

In Spider-Man: Homecoming, we saw our favorite webslinger get a stern talking to from his mentor and father figure Tony Stark. The gist of the speech was that being a true hero is about more than just having a really awesome super suit with tons of gadgets. It’s kind of a strange thing for Iron Man to take a stance on, all things considered, but we got the message. Still, there’s no denying that there are some really awesome features incorporated in Spidey’s outfits. Today, we’re going to talk about some of the features and abilities they have that you may not have noticed.

The Iron Spider suit comes in super handy from time to time, but we know it’s burdened with the Training Wheels Protocol and the Baby Monitor, but that’s nothing compared to what could also be lurking somewhere in the suit. The underarm webbing we’ve seen is actually a surprising throwback to one of his earliest costumes. We’ll also talk about the stealth suit that we caught a glimpse of in Spider-Man: Far From Home.

What do you think about the selection of super suits we’ve seen Peter Parker make use of so far in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? Do you think they’re way too over the top or are there some cool costumes from the comic books you wouldn’t mind seeing on the big screen? Over the long history of the MCU, we’ve seen tons of characters exhibit superpowers which are nothing short of breathtaking, but we have to admit there’ve also been some powers so weak they barely qualify as superhuman. Today, we’re going to be ranking the powers of some of your favorite superheroes from worst to best. While we may be envious of Groot’s amazing ability to regenerate, there are some of his powers which are less than impressive. For mere mortals, folks like Iron Man, Hawkeye, Doctor Strange and Black Widow have some pretty incredible powers.

We know there are tons of people and powers to choose from in the MCU and these are just a few of them. Who do you think has the most power in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and who has the least? Marvel Avengers Endgame Trailer Moments That Were Changed

In the lead up to Avengers: Endgame, we couldn’t get enough of examining the movie trailers for every last detail, but, as we predicted, some of the scenes were wildly misleading, omitted seemingly innocuous details or were missing from the movie entirely. Today, we’re going to go over the edited trailers and let you know how they were different from the movie itself. You might be surprised at some of the deleted scenes that didn’t make the cut, especially the ones which may have involved actress Katherine Langford.

We knew Endgame would change the face of the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever, but we didn’t expect it to deviate from the trailers quite so much. We saw absolutely no trace of Nick Fury’s pager or Captain Marvel’s new haircut. There was also an important weapon missing from one of the final battle scenes and no sign of Professor Hulk. Of course, nobody had more lost moments than Natasha Romanoff, the one hero who tried to keep everything together following the decimation.

What do you think about the way these Marvel movie scenes changed from the trailer to the big screen? Do you hate the fact that Marvel Studios sometimes creates intentionally misleading trailers or do you think it’s just part of the excitement? 14:11 10 Secrets Deadpool Is Hiding About His Superpowers

10 Secrets Deadpool Is Hiding About His Superpowers

We all loved Deadpool and are looking forward to Deadpool 2! We look at 10 secrets that the funny and amazing superhero is hiding from us! Subscribe to our channel for more fun lists: https://goo.gl/wMuSDD

When you think of Deadpool’s superpowers, what is the first thing that pops into your head? I don’t have the mind reading abilities of X-men founder Charles Xavier, but I’d bet that you’re thinking of Wade Wilson’s regenerative healing factor. Why wouldn’t you? To date, Deadpool’s healing factor is the his most prominent superpower we’ve seen to date. Who can forget his tiny baby hand? We know we never will.

But what if we told you that Deadpool is one of the most versatile and powerful superheroes of all time? After all, he was actively recruited to join the X-Men. You’re saying to yourself, no, that doesn’t sound right. What about Hulk? Spider-Man! Wolverine?? Deadpool might be one funny dude, but he couldn’t win against Spider-Man—even with all his guns, swords and healing. Could he?

It can be hard to tell, with all Wade Wilson’s winking and sarcasm and spandex, but underneath all that cancerous skin is an arsenal of powers waiting to be unleashed. Very few superheroes or mutants in the film and the Marvel universe, boast the abilities of Deadpool. In addition to his healing, Deadpool has an arsenal superpowers in that duffel bag of his (and doesn’t have to worry about forgetting it).

From immortality to teleportation, stay tuned to find out the ten Superpowers that Marvel’s anti-superhero Deadpool is hiding under that tight red spandex.

Featuring:

Party of None
Transportation Device
Resistant
Deadpool Sees Us, Seeing Him, Seeing Us
Invulnerability to Psychic Attacks
Immune to Disease
Holographic Imaging
Expert Marksman
Super Endurance

12:30 25 Marvel Fan Theories That Actually Came True!

25 Marvel Fan Theories That Actually Came True!

Marvel fans are a pretty perceptive bunch to come up with such accurate theories! Subscribe to our channel: http://goo.gl/ho3Hg6

Pop culture fans in general simply love coming up with theories about their favourite cinematic and television offerings — but arguably none more so than superhero fans.

Whether it's theories about Marvel movies and TV shows, DC movies and TV shows, or otherwise, superhero fans are always discussing their thoughts online — and sometimes their ideas end up coming true.

In this video, we'll take you through some of the most prominent Marvel fan theories that ended up becoming a reality.

The theories in question include (in no particular order); that Stan Lee's characters in the MCU were all actually the same person, that the kid in the Iron Man mask in Iron Man 2 was actually Peter Parker AKA Spider-Man, that Professor X has transferred his consciousness into the body of his twin brother in the X-Men franchise, that Skye is actually Daisy Johnson AKA Quake in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., that Kilgrave would return in the second season of Jessica Jones, that Loki's sceptre in The Avengers actually had the Mind Stone in it, that Wolverine's death in Logan was foreshadowed in The Wolverine, that Planet Hulk would be adapted in some way in the MCU, that Nightcrawler had retired from superhero duties in the X-Men franchise, and that the Fantastic Four reboot would be absolutely garbage!

We hope you enjoy the video! Let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment below it. And please don't forget to subscribe to Screen Rant's YouTube channel, so you never miss our great new video uploads in the future.

MCU Phase 4: New Marvel Heroes We'll Likely See

Marvel Characters We Expect To See in MCU Phase Four

SUBSCRIBE NOW to CBR! Click here: http://bit.ly/Subscribe-to-CBR

Everyone knows that the movie Spider-Man: Far From Home marks the end of the third phase of Marvel movies, but, as far as Phase Four goes, Marvel Studios has been pretty quiet about what we can expect to see. Of course, that’s not particularly surprising, but we’re also not going to let it stop us from guessing what’s going to happen and which new characters might show up. Could Avengers: Endgame have foreshadowed the introduction of Namor the Sub-Mariner? After all, in the comic books, he has a conflict with Wakanda and we know they announced a sequel to Black Panther.

There are also some cosmic heroes we’d love to see included in the MCU included the recently acquired Silver Surfer, who Disney now has the rights to after acquiring Fox. Beta Ray Bill was originally supposed to appear in Thor: Ragnarok, but it seems like he’ll be getting his own movie at some point. We briefly got a hint to Adam Warlock in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and have been patiently waiting for him ever since.

We’ll share some of our MCU roster picks with you, but there are tons more out there on the pages of your favorite comic books. Which heroes do you hope to see in the MCU following the third Phase of Marvel movies?
