Completion of a project. Two 24" x 26" boards (pegboard) filled with 818 blue LEDs, 160 IR emitters, and 190 IR receivers. All organized into 190 "nodes" and powered by two Arduino micro-controllers. I built the coffee table and sized the inner cabinet to accommodate these pegboard reactive surfaces. The array of white lights that you see when there are no blue LEDs on are the infrared (IR) emitters. This portion of the light spectrum is invisible to the naked eye, but digital cameras can pick them up. Simply: in person, you would not see any light until you interact with the table.
The two pieces of pegboard (as well as a good view of the wire "nest" beneath them) can be seen during testing here: http://youtu.be/ZO-9DszzpI8
The original prototype board can be seen here: http://youtu.be/oKPUU21ReZg
This link also contains a vast amount of information such as motivation/inspiration, similar projects by others, and more on components used.

I took pictures of my creating this project, so that I could later assemble them into this video. I sketched out some rough circuit block diagrams (read: not exact, merely demonstrative) to convey my approach, and linked some good sites to obtain more info.
The original prototype board can be seen here: http://youtu.be/oKPUU21ReZg

If you have any questions, please hit me up; there very well may be a mistake you could discover that I missed. Outside that, I can clarify a few things, but the information and links included in the video should be sufficient.
Final words: there are so many ways this could be improved that I encourage those interested to expand on the ideas, and share!
Addendum 9/3/2016: Want to reduce the wire tangle? Try multiplexing your input/output scheme like the Spark Design Club at the University of Toronto: http://imgur.com/gallery/AycbJ

Check out my growing DIY projects blog at:
http://electronicsandbeer.blogspot.com/
This is my first working multi-module prototype.
Mode of operation:
Infrared emitters for one pixel turn on for about 100 microseconds, then an analog reading is taken, then the IR emitters are turned off. Then the controller goes to the next pixel and repeats until it has cycled through the 4 pixels. It does this cycling through the 4 pixels around 30 times per second. The current pushed through the IR emitters is 140 mA, but since the emitters are on for only a short period of time, the average current consumption of the IR emitters is only a couple percent of the full current, so more like 3-4 mA.

Top 10 Cool arduino projects/arduino uno Projects.
Top 10 DIY innovative arduino projects, This video shares Cool Ideas of some of Advanced arduino Projects.
http://rztronics.com/arduino-board-open-source-projects-for-beginners/
All these Projects are Based on arduino Microcontroller and use some basic sensors like sonar, Infrared, Force sensor, some components like servos, motors, LED's, Displays, shields etc.The arduino uno r3 is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega328. It has 14 digital input/output pins (of which 6 can be used as PWM outputs), 6 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. You too can make these Amazing projects at Home.

If you want to understand how the Infinity Mirror illusion works or how to make one then watch this video!
Why triangle, square and circle? They are the basic shapes of everything that exists!
Note: Use subtitles if you can't hear well enough.
Sorry for the low quality of the video.
Next time I'll try to do it more attractive =)
