The opening music is called “Sinister Intent” by Danny Locke and it was licensed through songfreedom.com — he does some spectacular work and I hope to license more of his music in the future. The stead-cam shots were all done with the Canon 5Diii on a glide-cam 4000.
First off, you should know the Canon 5Diii is my workhorse camera. I used it nearly every single day I shoot. There is something about the look of the image itself I still ove, and it is very easy to use. I don’t think that will change too much in the immediate future.
When I originally started testing the Nikon D750 I was just super impressed with the still images coming out of it, there was a look and a sharpness that was noticeable and I found myself wanting to use it more and more. Eventually I came to the conclusion that the D750 was very different than the D600/610 based on image quality alone and it actually lined up very well against Canon’s 5Diii. Despite using both cameras regularly since their release, I knew that it would be impossible to say for sure which one was better and how, unless I did an Epic Shootout on them. I believe you will find many of the results surprising. This video represents a good 3-4 weeks of testing and production, so just know I do not take my Epic Shootouts lightly. Many of the tests were performed several times.

Cosa occorre: — Una siringa — 20 ml inchiostro Canon PG40 — guanti di plastica
Ricarica la cartuccia appena vuota, dato che se viene lasciata troppo tempo fuori dalla stampante si intasano gli ugelli e la cartuccia diventa inutilizzabile.
1. comincia mettendo la cartuccia su qualche foglio di giornale, in modo che eventuali schizzi di inchiostro non sporchino.
2. fai un piccolo foro sul lato della cartuccia.
3. inserisci l’ago della ricarica di inchiostro nel foro che hai appena fatto.
4. inietta l’inchiostro lentamente. Spesso sono sufficenti 5-10 ml. Non iniettare troppo inchiostro perchè la cartuccia potrebbe avere delle perdite dentro la stampante.
5. chiudi il foro che hai appena fatto con un pezzetto di nastro adesivo.
6. pulisci la zona degli ugelli molto delicatamente con un panno soffice inumidito con acqua.
La ricarica è completata.
Fai qualche ciclo di pulizia. sarebbe meglio lasciare la cartuccia nella stampante circa un’ora prima di cominciare a stampare, in modo da dare il tempo all’inchiostro di spandersi nella cartuccia.
Se la cartuccia non stampa bene, prova a lasciare la zona degli ugelli della testina immersa per qualche minuto in un dito di acqua calda.
Oppure prova a chiudere con un dito il foro di areazione e a iniettare aria, o ancora meglio soffiare nel foro di ricarica. Questo dovrebbe far defluire l’inchiostro verso gli ugelli.
Un altro metodo per sbloccare la testina consiste, dopo aver messo sugli ugelli un panno umido per proteggerli, nell’aspirare con un aspirapolvere gli ugelli, per aiutare a far passare l’inchiostro dagli ugelli intasati. Fai però molta attenzione a non danneggare i circuiti.
Per resettare il contatore della cartuccia: tieni premuto il tasto alimentazione carta (o stop) per 5 secondi.

Refill instructions for the Canon black Ink Cartridge PG-30 (#30), PG-40 (#40), PG-50 (#50)
1. Put the cartridge on some paper towels in an area where you can tolerate a spill.
2. Drill a hole into the cartridge with a scissors.
3. Fill the syringe with 10 ml. of black ink.
4. Very slowly inject ink into the drilled hole.
5. When finished, close the hole with tape.
6. Replace the cartridge and run 1 — 3 cleaning cycles as per printer instructions.
For best results, leave cartridge in printer for 1 hour after refilling so the ink can saturate the entire sponge.
Note: Each time the cartridge is removed from the printer an «empty cartridge» message appears and a blinking amber light will come on, on the printer. Holding the paper feed (or stop/reset) button down for 3-5 sec. will allow you to override the counter.
