Husqvarna 61 - 272 Hybrid Overview... Narrated Pics & Cutting Video

Basically took an old Husqvarna "White Top" Model 61 that was a very early version. The tag says manufactured in 1978! My game was to prove that I could build ANY model on that chassis into a 272 capable saw.

Couple of notes:
Had to use the 272 intake manifold, carb, and bolts/screws. Had to use the 61's air horn/air filter and then drill out the mounting holes so the 272 carb screws would fit.

Similar deal with the muffler. Had to modify it so I could use the 272 muffler screws/bolts.

AND the cover.. had to hack it as seen in the video.

Other than that it was pretty much straight forward.
