Hey guys, Owari no Seraph is finally back and I'm diggin' it. I love how the animation seems to have gotten an upgrade. I'm really excited to see what will happen this season. Anyway I really like the opening song so I decided to cover it : D

This song actually took me a lot of tries to get a usable take. For some reason my hands just wouldn't play it right. I finally got decent take though so it's all good lol.

Also I'd like to thank my bro Kanimey for introducing me to the free trial of iZotope Ozone 6. It has this awesome limiter that let's you crank up the volume of your track without clipping. Be sure to check out Kanmey's channel here. : )

Norn9 [ノルン+ノネット] OST - Aion's Song : Nemuri no Kuni (PIano Synthesia Tutorial + Sheet)

Notes* : what you're watching now is VER 1
The hardest part of this transcription is the 1/16 2, 5 octaves LH jumps..
But don't worry, I've prepared 3 other alternative version for it~

SHEET (sorted in descending difficulty)

VER 1 : Original (the hardest because of those far 1/16 LH jumps..) : play this if you think you're pro enough~

https://www.dropbox.com/s/gmx6mjw64lj1ycz/Nemuri_no_Kuni_(Aion's_Song).pdf?dl=0

VER 2 : Closer LH jump (every time there's a 1/16 LH bass, I shift the bass up by 1 octave)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/bx3g469nzcyrj55/Nemuri_no_Kuni_(Aion's_Song) - Closer LH Jump.pdf?dl=0

VER 3 : Original LH jumps with Pause (just like Ver 1, but now you have time for LH to jump because I change the bass into 3/16)~

https://www.dropbox.com/s/2h0wnlt43s8kxp3/Nemuri_no_Kuni_(Aion's_Song) + LH Jump Pause.pdf?dl=0

VER 4 : Closer LH jump Pause (Just like VER 2, but now you have time for LH to jump because I change the bass into 3/16)

Owari no Sekai Kara - Yanagi Nagi [piano]

It's here.
I finally uploaded the piano cover of Owari no Sekai Kara.
(this song is not from an anime, but it's a track fron the album "Owari no hoshi no Love Song" by Jun Maeda and Yanagi Nagi)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OJrofmDpTXs

After months of delay, days of sleepless nights, countless moments of frustration, dropping and un-dropping it several times, this sheet was actually destined to fail and ultimately land in my "dropped transcriptions" folder.
But... I just.. didn't want to give up so easily.

Because I really wanted to make it happen. I know that countless people are waiting for this sheet. I mean, I made a big announcement to transcribe "Owari no sekai kara" on facebook after all, and I don't want to disappoint everyone.

But I just couldn't finish the sheet. I was lacking inspiration. Because this song is pretty straightforward, it doesn't leave any room for fancy piano techniques or transcription ideas.
After countless trial and error, I became frustrated and I decided to just upload a very basic and uninspired sheet of Owari no sekai kara.

However, things have changed after my journey in LA.

When we had the fan-meetup on 12th april, I was amazed to meet all the people, who came all the way to LA, just to see me and Ishter in person. I was happy to see, how much they enjoyed my piano covers, how much I inspired them.

And that's where I finally gained the inspiration to complete the sheet. I completely re-edited the sheet from the scratch and was working every night on this transcription.

I made quick progress and the sheet was almost finished in a few days. As a finishing touch, I added a variation of the main theme — heavily inspired by a Chopin sonata — in the final page of the sheet. Suddenly, the melody is played in a major key!
You ask me why I did that?
Hm... maybe.. just a hunch, but I have a feeling, that the sheet was trying to tell me: "You did it! Thank you so much for not forgetting me in the dropped folder! Thank you for not giving up!"

And that's why I added the final part, known as "good — end".

Wep, I think that's the entire story behind the creation of this sheet.
Thank you for reading this wall of text and I hope you enjoyed my piano cover of Owari no Sekai Kara.

Animenz

PS:
the "good-end" begins at 3:57

AMNESIA 「Zoetrope」 piano arrange

Brave Shine - Fate/stay night UBW OP2 [piano]

Hello everyone, and welcome to the first upload of this year 2016.
A lot of stuff has happened in january and I struggled a lot with the completion of the Brave shine piano sheet.
Thankfully, things got a lot better now because of the invaluable support of my family, my friends, and also you fans.

Basically: I was anxious that I couldn't keep my level of arrangement anymore. I was always wondering whether I have reached my "peak" of arrangement activity already. Whether I can still maintain my arrangement level and improve my "animenz style".

I know, I shouldn't be bothered by these trivial things, because in the end, it's only the music itself that matters, and not the arrangement style. But still, I really want to give my best for every video I was uploading, and I just couldn't think of a good arrangement for brave shine — an incredible song, loved by many fans in the world.
I really don't want to disappoint the fans — but I also don't want to disappoint myself as well.

[...]
Now, several weeks later, this sheet is finally finished. After a month of uncertainity and struggle.
This arrangement is one of the "special" arrangement types — similar to my "hikaru nara" or "Owari no sekai kara" piano cover.

It starts with a slow variation of the chorus, in the higher register of the piano, resembling the sound of a music box from afar. And after many crescendos and diminuendos, the piece finally dies down in a lowest possible register in c-minor, (the dominante of f-minor), with the three final C-notes in the left hand resembling the sound of a bell in a requiem, until the music fades out completely in a piano pianissimo.

This may not be my best arrangement in terms of technique, nor in terms of musicality. But this is definitely one with the most heart because I put my entire soul in this piece. This is basically my very own "brave shine".

[...]
Well then, with this arrangement finally done, I feel a lot more confident now to arrange more anime song on the piano.
Therefore, my next video is going to be "Snow Halation" from Love Live! OST. I will try to upload it within the next 2 weeks.

Thank you for reading this long wall of text and thank you for listening to my piano covers.
I will continue doing my best.

Hey guys first off I'd like to take some time to thank everyone who is subscribed to me. Before I started making anime covers, I only covered pop and video games songs which didn't get much support. I only had 220 subscribers at the time. A little over a month ago when I started posting anime covers, I realized that I was receiving a great amount of support from the anime commjnity. I was very surprised to see a community so supportive of the music. I went from 220 subscribers to 963 in just over a month all because of you guys. So thank you so much.

Anyway today I bring you the Arslan Senki opening song. Initially I wasn't going to cover this because it reminded me too much of a generic Naruto opening lol. But the more I listened to it, the more the song grew on me.

I was also pretty inspired to do an epic intro to the song when I saw Theishter's Oregairu vid so I added a cool intro haha.

Lastly I'd just like to point out that Arslan Senki is a pretty awesome anime so far. I've only watched a couple episodes but from what I've seen, it looks like the rest of the series will be pretty promising.

Please enjoy my cover =)
