How to open the Xbox 360 E (superslim)
Maybe this video will help people how to open the latest Xbox 360 slim model. Some will call the model superslim. However it is a little bit slimmer then the actual slim model. Further on the 250GB model is the Corona V5 and the 4GB model Corona V6.
Tools used:
1) A normal credit card type card, which you don't use anymore. The plastic is more soft then the plastic of the Xbox, to prevend damage. You can't really push the clips down, but you can push the case away from it, in order to release the clips.
2) Torx screwdriver size 10 (it is not necessary to have a hole in the middle of the tip). Counterclockwise will do, to unscrew ; -)
3) Normal flathead screwdriver (I think many sizes can do the job) to push the clips down.

![[Xbox 360 Slim]Replace LiteOn DG-16D4S/16D5S DVD-Drive(PCB Swap - Soldering - No Flashing)](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/0mZypXPy-Hs/hqdefault.jpg)
[Xbox 360 Slim]Replace LiteOn DG-16D4S/16D5S DVD-Drive(PCB Swap - Soldering - No Flashing)
Need a new DVD-Drive? Buy one from us on Ebay! http://ebay.x-ex.com :)
You CAN SWAP a 16D4S drive for a 16D5S and vice versa, they are identical!
Xbox 360 Drives are paired to the Xbox in order to get it to work you need to take the circuit board from the Original drive and put it in the new drive. Otherwise the Xbox notices the new drive isnt the original(DVD-Key doesnt match) and does not play any games. This method involves soldering a few wires you need a 20W soldering iron(preferably more powerful) and some solder for the tutorial.
This method is an alternative to flashing for people who just want to get it working without the hassle of reading out and flashing the drive. :)
