Using the Reference Feature in Procreate
I've had people ask me about why I don't use the Reference Features in Procreate. And, let's be real here. There are 100 ways to achieve the same results. I am a FIRM believer that no one person is better than another. You do you. You do what makes you feel most effective in the app you're using. We need to be cool with that. I've seen that all of my life starting with Photoshop. I once had someone tell me I was doing something wrong. I wasn't. I got the same results. i just did it different! #procreate
With the Reference features in Procreate you can effectively color in line art. It's one way to do it. I don't do it because sometimes it's a more tedious process for me or I don't get a good fill depending on a brush I use. So therefore I have gotten into the habit of doing a color outline and then fill that area. It's just what I do. You should do what makes you feel best!
But, I wanted to go over this feature in a video so you can learn another way to do things. One of many!
