How to fix Atrix touchscreen (temporary method)

HOW TO:
1. Download the touch test app and install it.( It’s currently unavailable on the store, I don’t know why, google the APK file)
2. Put you atrix landscape while drawing a line, then the app will FC.
3. After that the touchscreen may recover or may not.
4. Try again if the problem still exist.

I am not guarantee this method works on every Atrix, so if it don’t work on your Atrix, don’t dislike this video.It works on some people’s Atrix base on the comments.

Motorola Atrix 4g Touch Screen Problem

Atrix 4g with touchscreen problems. The touch does not work, but I can unlock the phone with the fingerprint scanner. Usually, this can be fixed by turning the screen off and on, and once it’s working it doesn’t ever stop until the screen turns off again. As you can see, this time I had to pull the battery. It is running the stock ROM at Gingerbread version 2.3.6 via OTA update from Bell. It seems so much like a software problem. Any ideas? Still have 15 months left on the contract, out of warranty.

RepairsUniverse Problems reassembling Atrix 4G Digitalizer

I was able to take apart the Motorola Atrix 4G, following RepairsUniverse.com’s video instructions. But their video does not include reassembly instructions, so I am running into problems reassembling my Atrix 4G digitalizer.

I put up this video so RepairsUniverse can see the problems I am having and show me how to handle my initial reassembly issues.

My main difficulty is getting the tabs from the new digitalizer back through the small hole — it seems to be quite a contortion to do that and I haven’t figured out the trick.

Then once I have the tabs through the hole, exactly how, in what order and exactly where in the back plate do I secure the (two) tabs.

Finally there is an anchor tab that needed to be peeled off, but now the stickiness is no longer there — so how do I re-stick the anchor tab to the black plate again. Is there a special glue I need to use?

There is a minor question about the adhesive strips that I attached to the unit. After the new digitalizer is finally attached (hopefully!) and I remove the protective paper on the strips do I finally have to reheat the unit to secure the glue. I doubt I have to do that — but want to make sure that the new digitalizer is securely attached by the sticky tape.

The Galaxy S II has a WVGA 4.3» Super AMOLED Plus screen. It has an 8MP camera with LED flash that can take 1080p video at 30fps. The battery is 1650mAh. There’s also 1GB of RAM, and you get two versions, one with 16GB and one with 32GB for storage. The Galaxy S 2 is running Android 2.3
