I have always been a bit envious of fly tiers; not because of the work the produce but the iddy, biddy workspace and the vice. With this project I wanted a fly tier's workspace and similar tools but instead of creating flies I wanted to make fishing floats. As always getting from the initial idea to a usable float was a bit of circus but I think I got there in the end.

100grit sandpaper attached or laid on a flat surface

Aluminium car body mesh (normally available from auto supplies)

Polymer clay (Super Sculpey) (craft shops/art shops or online)
Pasta Machine or rolling pin and flat surface
Standard kitchen oven
Ceramic tile
Wet and dry sand paper starting no less than 400 grit to as fine as you have
Cotton Cloth
Piece of picture framing glass as mould base
Lego mould box
Plasterscene
Low viscosity RTV silicone such as Polycraft GP-3481-F RTV Silicone
Pouring Lures
Flexible liquid PVC, lure lube and colours for making the lures
Microwave oven
Microwave safe Jug
GLOVES, RESPIRATOR, GLASSES, COVERED ARMS

Fishing The Method Feeder For Carp & Tench At Cobble Acre Lakes — Part One
We got so much great footage we had to split it into three parts...
Once again another session after work saw us this time visit Cobble Acre Lakes in Norfolk. We decided to fish one of there match lakes and try and catch some fish on the method feeder.
Using soft pellet on the feeder and hard pellet as hook bait we enjoyed a fantastic session in the evening sunshine landing some nice hard fighting Carp and Tench.
