Homebuilt snowmobile testrun 1
Декабрь 8, 2013
This is the very first test of my snowmobile that I've built from scratch. It runs pretty poorly (carb needs tuning and fuel tank needs proper ventilation and a bunch of other things..), but it works, despite it being quite cold outside -20*C.
The snowmobile is supposed to be a simple snowmobile for trail use and ice fishing, inspired by the old 70s sleds. No modern aggressive powder machine. Complete build log can be seen here (although in swedish):

Discovery Channel Video of Ice Auger Machines - Predator 1600
A story by the Discover Channel will show the story of a Upper Michigan man building a device that uses your ice auger engine to get you to your spot with ease!
Adam Ford, from Kingsford Michigan now living in Green Bay WI has a very unique devise that is very useful for ice fisherman everywhere. Luckily surviving a life or death situation in 2010 he came up with a product that could change ice fishing transportation as we know it. Adam was stranded alone in a blizzard 2 miles off shore in the dark with nothing but his equipment in a sled on 5" of ice. 8 years of being a machinist and 3 years of manufacturing engineering helped him create a plan in his head that would eventually become a reality. Thus the Ice Auger Machine. Adam has since updated and tested his design for 4 years now. A project manager at a machine and fab shop will help him in his desire of producing them for sale to the public. He hopes to start selling them as early as November of 2015. You can follow his progress on Facebook at Ice Auger Machines or go to his website Iceaugermachines.com.

homemade twin track go kart II
Motified homemade twin track go kart added new boggie system to help with the tracking of the tracks, video going though the snow and showing some of the drive system using two artic cat 121 x 16 snowmobile tracks, I am guessing it goes about 15 mph which is fast enough going though the woods, I am using a 8hp motor it can be a little under powered going up hills in deep snow but works great around in the yard

Pine Mountain снегоходах Hill Climb.. Этот холм было невозможно подняться! Только один всадник официально сделал это к верху.. Они все имели шанс изменить ход, что делает его более легким, но выбрал не слишком..
