Roland JDXI Layering Partials
This video will show you how to layer sounds on the JDXI synth by Roland. By mastering how tones are built up you will be able to create nice sounding patches. You will also be able to set partials (tones) and mute and un-mute them in your session thus enabling the two digital parts to handle 6 partials.

Roland JD-XI interactive chord feature with external gear!
The new interactive chord feature that came with firmware V1.5 can really open up a world of musical possibilities. This video shows how you can use this feature with external gear and make your one-shot performances easier! You can transpose your sequences based on the root note of chords — not only the 4 parts of the JD-Xi internal sequencer — but also external gear!
I'm using Roland JD-XI, Roland MX-1, Roland TR-8, Korg Minilogue, Korg Electribe ER-1, Waldorf Streichfett, Strymon BigSky, EHX Small Stone, Lexicon MX-200. Recorded directly onto the camera's audio input.
