WORST CLIENT EVER IS BACK!! How To Remove Super Long Nails
Hi everyone, Today I’m finally getting rid of Fay. I’m joking, I’m just taking off her long nails and showing you how to do it.
We’re going to use some massive paediatric clippers to crack the nails and remove the majority of the length. We’re then going to nip off any stones that are left on, make sure you support the nail. You could use a normal hand file for the next step but I’m going to use an e-file for these just for speed. I remove about 70-80% of the product when I file down and leave the rest of the product on the nail to soak off. The thinner you go, the quicker the soak off will be.
We’re then going to take some of the length off with a hand file and take some lint-free pads and cut up into 10 pieces and soak them in acetone. Use a bigger piece for the thumb and wrap up each nail with a lint-free pad and a piece of foil and leave them on for 10 minutes. I’m going to use a spatula to scrape off the soft acrylic and use a 240 grit file to file off any leftovers. Finish off with a little bit of cuticle oil.
