Brandon Lane Trouble | Relaxing Blues & Rock Music 2018 | Audiophile Hi-Fi (4K)

At only 17 years old, Brandon Lane has become a recognized force in music, writing, composition, and performance. With a love of blues mixed with rock and roll, Brandon steps on stage and leaves audiences in absolute awe as he delivers the work of a veteran musician with an undeniable flair.

Brandon picked up his first guitar at age 12. Within six months, he was a guest artist on a professional recording. By age 13, he was studying Berklee College of Music material and performing 3 hours live classic rock shows. By 15 years old, he formed his own band, started his own studio and performed his first live concert. At age 16, he was chosen to be part of the School of Rock All-Star band program comprised of the top 1% of 15, 000 students within 219 locations worldwide, and released his debut album. 'That Kind of Love' contains original work by Brandon Lane as well as cover tunes from the blues-rock greats, all stamped with his signature guitar sound and passionate vocal talent.

Brandon Lane's work is backed by the humble confidence of a highly disciplined musician with a passion for a sound that is both pure and precise. Even with his early notoriety, it is not unusual for him to quietly sit down and jam at a local guitar store where he is surrounded by friends. His anonymity is short lived as others seek the origin of his sound and warm advice.

Main Street Blues

Main Street Blues have been working hard over the last 5 years to develop as one of Scotland’s up and coming Blues/R&B bands, performing their mix of electric blues, combining their original numbers with new and old blues classics. The band has grown as a favourite around the music festival, small theatre and arts centre circuit and is known for putting on a very energetic live show. The band has performed a run of sell out shows at the Edinburgh International Festival Fringe for the last three years and have sold out their performances at the prestigious Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival for the last 6 years. As well as live shows, the band has had television appearances both on Scottish Television (STV2) and BBC which broadcast their set when the band played the Main Stage at the Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival in the Highlands. This year see’s the release of bands fourth album — Bluest Blue.

Reviews:
'A masterclass in musicianship. Simply First Class' Press & Journal
‘So tight you couldn’t slide a Rizla between them, great gig’ — Ian Rankin
‘Jubilant atmosphere, packed to the rafters, a blues band in the truest sense’ — Blues in Britain Magazine

About the band:
Front man is Derek Smith (guitar and vocals), who has played with many of the top Blues musicians in the country, Iain Hanna on keyboards with a strong rhythm section in Scotland, featuring Calum Macleod on drums and John Hay on bass guitar.

Daniel Castro - I'll Play The Blues For You

Album: No Surrender http://www.danielcastro.com/, https://www.ebay.com/itm/323224730947, Albert King Cover
Lyrics:
If you're down and out and you feel real hurt
Come on over to the place where I work
And all your loneliness I'll try to soothe
I'll play the #Blues for you

Don't be afraid come on in
You might run across some of your old friends
All your loneliness I gotta soothe
I'll play the blues for you

I got no big name and I ain't no big star
I play the blues for you on my guitar
All your loneliness I'll try to soothe
I 'll play the blues for you

As he grew up in the L.A. area, Daniel was heavily influenced by the blues greats Albert KIng, B.B. King, and Albert Collins. As a kid, Daniel would hang outside clubs like the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach to hear these blues legends perform and wait for a glimpse of them through the curtains. After cutting his teeth in South Central L.A. blues clubs with “Mighty Mouth” Delmar Evans, who worked with the Johnny Otis Show, Castro backed other great artists from Otis’ band, including Pee Wee Crayton and Little Esther Phillips. He also recorded and toured with many other artists including legendary Small Faces singer-bassist Ronnie Lane.

Tony Joe White:
Tony Joe White (July 23, 1943 – October 24, 2018) was an American singer-songwriter and guitarist, best known for his 1969 hit "Polk Salad Annie" and for "Rainy Night in Georgia", which he wrote but was first made popular by Brook Benton in 1970. He also wrote "Steamy Windows" and "Undercover Agent for the Blues", both hits for Tina Turner in 1989; those two songs came by way of Turner's producer at the time, Mark Knopfler, who was a friend of White. "Polk Salad Annie" was also recorded by Joe Dassin, Elvis Presley and Tom Jones — http://www.tonyjoewhite.com/

Lyrics:
I've been laying low
Living in the shadows
Spending time alone
Conversations with the wall
Hanging on
I'm just trying to matter
And I remain
Trying to make some sense of it all
I've been here before I'm familiar with the pain
But I ain't running no more there's one thing changed
Ain't going down this time
This time I ain't going down
Like an undertow
I feel the promise of the nighttime
But I've been down that road
And my search came to an end
I hit the motherload
Enough blues for a lifetime
Now I'm digging deep inside
Trying to find my way back again
You know you've entered the danger zone
When you look in the eyes and there's no one home
Ain't going down this time
This time I ain't going down
Deep in the night
I miss a woman's touch
The fire burns strong
And I'm drawn to the flame
But I pay the price
When I get caught up in the heartbeat
And passion flows
Unrestrained
No one left to blame I'm faced with the truth
And it's all too plain when there's nothing left to lose
Ain't going down this time
This time I ain't goin

Sven Zetterberg:
Talking about blues players outside America it´s hard to leave out Sven Zetterberg, Sweden´s most versatile artist in this field. Being both an excellent singer, guitarist, songwriter and harmonica player extraordinary, he has become a house-hold name all over Scandinavia.

Unfortunately Sven has left us. But we still have all the memories and music, that he was a huge part of. — http://www.svenzetterberg.com/

Lyrics:
Sit yourself down boy and talk to me
Tell me what's on your mind
Don't keep on telling me every thing's okay
'Cause if it was you wouldn't be crying
You been acting real funny when I see you lately
Sitting around poutin' all day long
Now how in the world you expect me to understand
Oh when I don't even know what's wrong girl

Let's straighten it out
Let's straighten it out
Baby let's straighten it out
Let's straighten it out

For the last few days when I saw you baby
Oh I admit something just wasn't right
It's so many things going through my head
Oh an' I didn't want to start another fight
But if your tired of people being bothered baby
In the world we'd be all alone
Instead of being apart of a problem baby
You and me ought to be getting along, yeah

Straighten it out, let's straighten it out
We need to straighten it out
Let's straighten it out
Me and you, you and me baby, baby
Baby let's straighten it out, out
Let's straighten it out

Straighten it out, let's straighten it out
Let's straighten it out, let's straighten it out baby
Let's straighten it out
I think it's time for you and me to straighten it out
Let's straighten it out
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Let's straighten it out

Now how in the world you expect me to understand
Umm, when I don't even know what's wrong
Baby, baby, baby

Straighten it out, let's straighten it out
Yeah, yeah
Let's straighten it out
Can we straighten, can you help me babe
Baby, baby, baby
Can you help me sing, sing it baby
Let's straighten it out
Yeah, yeah, oh yeah, yeah
Let's straighten it out
I want to straighten it out with you baby
Come on, come on

Let's straighten it out, oh yeah
Let's straighten it out
Let's straighten it out
Come on, come on, come on
Straighten it out, let's straighten it out
Let's straighten it out, oh yeah
We need to straighten it out
Let's straighten it out
Let's straighten it out
