3 Beginner Drone MISTAKES With The DJI Mavic Pro

I know I am guilty of these beginner drone mistakes with my DJI Mavic Pro at one time or another, but want to help other drone users avoid making these same errors!
The DJI Mavic Pro has been a vey useful tool from us for both aerial photography and aerial video. Coming from other drones in the past we absolutely love what this drone offers in it's small form factor.
With the decrease in price and size compared to other drones along with more availability and visibility in big box stores the DJI Mavic Pro has become more widely available. The downside of this is that many users do not properly understand the drone before taking off.
So, here are three mistakes that I see beginners making with their DJI Mavic Pro. Avoid these to help have a better and safer flight for your drone photography and drone video!
1- DJI Mavic Pro Gimbal Cover and Clamp
2 — Drone GPS Lock and Return To Home
3 — Dji Mavic Pro Sensors

DJI Mavic Pro Range Test - How far will it go?
DJI Mavic Pro Platinum: https://goo.gl/pWA3Hh
DJI Mavic Pro: https://goo.gl/IiLiSV
New Quieter Propellers: https://goo.gl/Hb6M8B
Want to know how far the DJI Mavic Pro will go? We went to a HUGE ranch and flew the Mavic Pro until we got a weak transmission signal. Check out the results in this drone review video. Note that we used the new, updated DJI Mavic Platinum propellers for slightly longer flight time.
The camera I use in my videos is the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FZ300K.
Check it out here. http://amzn.to/2ip0ptE
It shoots 4K, has an external microphone jack, and with a flip around screen, it's perfect for Youtube videos!
