Colt's Dragoon
Shooting and demonstrating the classic Colt Dragoon ( 3rd Model). Come enjoy the trials and tribulations our forefathers experienced in order to have a revolver that would fire six powerful.44 rounds ( Actually, it is 45 caliber) back in the late 1840s.
I had both.451 and.454 size round balls and figured the.454 would certainly be large enough since they work in the 1860 Army Colt, but this thing needs.457, at least. I have some on order and will let you know how they work. The patches work, but who needs yet another step to further complicate the loading process. :-)
