How to fix Canon Pixma MP258 error E08

Error code E08 on Canon Pixma MP258 mean the ink absorber is almost full.
Solution for this problem is reset printer. How to fix error E08 on Canon Pixma MP258, follow instruction below:
1. Turn off printer
2. Make printer on service mode condition
— Press and hold Stop/Reset button
— Press and hold Power button
— Release Stop/Reset button (Power button, still pressed)
— Press and release Stop/Reset button 1x
— Press and release Stop/Reset button 1x, and release Power button
— Computer will detect New Device
Note; If show this message "Found New Hardware Wizard", click CANCEL
3. Open software Resetter Canon Pixma MP258. Download Resetter Canon Pixma MP258
4. Set Destination
— Region : select region. Example; ASA for Asia
— Click : SET – OK
5. Load paper
6. Click MAIN, wait for the moment. The printer will print D=000.0
7. Click EEPROM Clear — OK
8. If you want to print EEPROM data, click EEPROM
9. Turn off printer.

10. Turn on printer and try to print document. When try to print, show message E13 (The following ink may have run out color/black).
11. To fix E13 on Canon Pixma MP258, press and hold STOP/RESET button 5 seconds. Finish

Canon MP287 Turn off the E08 error by pressing the power. Do not unplug the power cord.
Press and Hold the button STOP / RESET followed by pressing the POWER button. So both buttonsdepressed position.
Release the button STOP / RESET but do not release the button POWER.

Then release both buttons simultaneously. Then the Canon MP287 will be in Service Mode condition.

How to fix Canon MP287 error E08 or iP2770/iP2772 error 5B00
On Canon MP287, error E08 mean, the ink absorber is almost full. The solution is to do reset.
Here is how to reset MP287 printers
1. Service Mode iP2770 and MP287
Plugged the power cord and the printer is off
Press and hold RESUME button, then
Press and hold POWER button, then release the RESUME button (the POWER button still pressed)
Press the RESUME button 5 TIMES, then release the POWER button.
The computer will detect new devices. This situation is called SERVICE MODE
Press CANCEL and the printer ready to reset.
2. Reset Canon iP2770 and MP287
Download Resetter MP287 or Resetter iP2770
If your printer is Canon Pixma iP2770, open this link How to fix iP2770 erro 5B00
If your printer is Canon Pixma MP287, follow instruction bellow
Extract file and open file Resetter Canon MP287.exe
Load a paper in the printer
Click the MAIN, and printer will print one page, with the words D = 000.0
Click the EEPROM Clear
Close application, then turn off printer.

Press and hold stop/reset button (7 second)
