How to format / hard reset your Pipo Smart S1 tablet without PC.

TOOLS NEEDED
Pipo Charger Paper Clip
1. Plug in charger & hold vol down button.
2. Press reset with paper clip, press on vol up vol down to enter android system recovery menu.
3. Use volume buttons to navigate & go to, wipe data / factory reset
4. Select, Yes Wipe all data
5. Wait around 5 — 10 minutes for Pipo S1 tablet to boot.

PiPO S2 — странный такой Китайский планшет, но тем не менее, я покажу Вам, как на нем сделать Hard Reset. Чтобы зайти в меню рекавери, зажмите клавишу громкости вверх, плюс клавишу Power, далее появляется лежачий робот андроид, и чтобы пройти дальше вы должны два раза резко нажать клавишу громкость вверх, а затем добавить клавишу Power. Всё вуаля- вы в меню Recovery, выбираете пункт Yes Delete All User Data и удаляете все Ваши данные

I thought this android tablet was dead. When the charger was plugged in the red light would show for a few seconds but eventually go out and the tablet would not boot. To fix this I disconnected the red wire to the battery and charged it for a while then reconnected the red cable.

How to do a factory reset an Android tablet when your start up screen is hanging.
